We do not know her name. It was the rape on the ‘image of my Modern India’. Not many days ago, a Delhi gang rape case was so much in talks, the brutality shown by some local block headed, dimwit nerds. I simply loved the way Thousands gathered across Nation in peaceful protest against what happened with Damini (name given by Media)/ Nirbhaya (name given by TOI). The girl died on 29^th December ‘12 at 2:15am. Sunday Times front page headline, Rest In Peace Nirbhaya, We Won’t, gives me a feel good factor, an adrenaline rush that there is still a commitment from every true Indian Men and Women, to change the people of the society, to make sure that such things would never happen again in the Country or anywhere else in the World. Her rape came to the light, but there would be thousands others which did not.

The Politicians can only Protest by walking out of the Parliament and not by walking into it to change the system. They cannot take actions to wipe the tears but will use the TEAR gas. The Government does not have balls to CHANGE the system.

Sheila Dick-shit is not coming out of her house and facing the media, same is the case with the Indian government. Two protestors at India Gate joined the Congress party after a group of protestors got a chance to meet another bonehead, Sonia Gandhi.

Spraying deodorants will not attract women to touch you or to come near you. Dear Men, change your mind set. The world has moved very much ahead of your patriarchal ways.

Women may be bodily less strong then man, but yes – they do have patience to labor a child and bear menstrual cycles every month. We do not HAVE.

I have asked many people, are we going to achieve anything by protesting, if yes, nothing like it. Many didn’t have answer to it. I am sceptical about how things happen in India with such a lame Government.

Only one person can make the difference – The Indian Man. Be the change, you want to see in the world.

RIP, the brave Delhi girl and RIP (Rest Indian Patriarchy) system.
 

Raindrops in Life

Standing by the window of my room, I usually think and try to understand the existence of human being. With violence all around, murders, rapes, theft, arms smuggling I really wonder, are we really safe or is this life worth living.

When I sit and watch evening news, hardly any day passes without murder news. I feel like what is happening to human’s, why are we turning into barbarians, so uncivilized.
Intentionally or unintentionally we are harming our own neighbourhood, our own people.
Hatred is the thing, for which people take advantage and create the nuisance all around.

Are we born, to be a part of such uncivilized society, where hatred prevails more than love? Where honour killing is respected and pieces of body parts are found on rail tracks.

Drifting to the positive side of life, where I can be with my crazy friends, can have food prepared by my mother; remember my love and everything that comes with a tag of happiness.

Sitting in my room, suddenly I felt raindrops on my face; I walked towards the window, saw children playing, happiness near me and God’s presence all over. This is when I feel, how beautiful our country is, why everyone can’t be happy and live happily forever.
Rains and I share a long history to deal with. Rain is a witness for my life’s most memorable moments. And today again, I was back in my past, remembering all those moments spent. And I quote ‘The happiest days of my life.’

Walk out in the rain (without umbrella), feel the cold breeze, hold hands with your loved ones and enjoy. Such moments may not last for long, but the memories will. Today we are alive, tomorrow may be not. Rather than spending a moment in anguish, think how you can live that very moment, how that moment of uneasiness can become a moment of joy.

Life is very short, my friend.

The Kindergarten Jump

It’s very rare of me sharing my childhood secrets with my friends. It is happening so because, a week back my sister called me and while talking she reminded me of my childhood mischiefs. We both burst out into laughter. She then asked me just one question, how many of your friends knows about this? I thought for a while and as expected the answer was ‘No One’. Everyone is mischievous during his/her childhood but we rarely remember those moments. I remember everything I did during my childhood, not because I memorized them all, but because my cute little sister who makes sure of reminding me every little thing I did during my childhood.

You might be wondering if she’s younger to me, then how come she knows so much about my childhood. All my secrets come to her by my Bhua Ji (her mother) who is also my secret box. Every mischief I did, she remembers them all.

I felt like sharing this one mischief with you all which I did when I was in Kindergarten.

During my Kindergarten days we use to have mandatory afternoon sleep for 2 hours at my school. But as I was restless and full of masti, I don’t use to sleep at all. One day somehow my teachers made me sleep but I woke up after half n hour or so. I found everyone sleeping near me. I walked out of the room, picked my school bag and went to the main door of the school to go back home as it was just 10 minutes walk away.

I found the school gate locked and thus rush towards the balcony. After reaching there, I threw my school bag and water bottle in the garden and then I too jumped in the garden which was 8-10 ft high from the ground level.

I wasn’t hurt at all, just couple of scratches on my right leg knee, and they are visible today too. My teachers caught me doing so, I didn’t understand anything what to do. They picked me up and checked whether I am hurt or not and then soon took me to my home.

Teachers narrated the whole story to my Mother and Bhua Ji. They both look over my whole body whether I am hurt or not but I was happily laughing as I was back at home. J

Since that day whenever I happen to meet my Bhua Ji or my sister, I always listen about my mischiefs and everyone who is around just bursts into laughter. J

This is just one of the hundred’s mischief’s which I did during my childhood.
